What is this nonsense I hear about those loons at Clatham House Thinktank in London asking that the Paris CC talks add stopping raising of food animals as a means of decreasing 2 degrees by end of century. Claiming that it is 15% of carbon emissions come from cultivating food animals.
What does the green blob suggest diabetics eat? It is currently recommended that they mainly eat meat, fish, vegtables and fruit as most grains are carbohydrates that convert to sugar in the digestive system. Will all diabetics have to become vegetarian or die? Another well thought out plan to reduce the population.
The WHO’s recent ‘meat causes cancer’ claims were imo part of the same scam. Who wants to risk a bacon roll for cancer, eh? You could say they’re offering a carrot to stop people eating meat…
Why do entities, such as the BBC and others, feel the mere fact that ignoramuses gather to protest for their point of view is, in itself, sufficient cause for everyone else to jump on board? And shame on anyone who does not.
The BBC no longer merely reports the news, but it is a campaigning organisation which determines the news.

The BBC should be closed down (together with Channel 4). They are propaganda tools of the EU and the UN.

Their 26th November 2015 report “Is there a danger to environmental jargon?” so qualifies for their ‘News’ section is reports:
“Polling in the UK in 2008 by Ipsos Mori suggested 61% of people found climate change an interesting subject.” [my bold]

I noticed that too.
Fascinatingly awful as usual. A couple of things stood out for me a non-native tree suffering presumably because it’s non-native and an imported beetle being a potential problem elsewhere. Neither having anything to do with climate.

More politics / voters than science again I would suspect, with common sense no where in site.
Please, please, please go online and make a complaint to the BBC. The process is fairly short and as part of the process, you can ask the BBC to reply to you. If enough people complain with requests for replies, maybe the workload will make them think more seriously about the content they post.

My suspicion is they live complaints, probably keeps a large team employed at our expense. I have complained to public bodies many times. The result is always I satisfying even when they admit they are wrong. The only thing they would take seriously is s legal challenge in their impartiality as per their obvious charter violations.

I have always found the BBC complaints procedure laborious and probably ultimately pointless because they tend to dismiss any complaints out of hand (see the BBC Newswatch).
My suspicion is that the procedure is designed to discourage complaints.
However, having said that, I will complain about this issue.
The BBC are fast becoming the greatest threat that the British public have to negotiate. They are so left wing on every damned issue that it’s cringe worthy and indeed embarrassing..
The BBC is a disgrace. But so is Westminster who allows it to continue. One thing about the left is they are adamant they are right, and only they have the answers. This is why they cant stop or help themselves and will always go too far..
The progressive liberal elite are hell-bent on destroying our western way of life and our individual freedom. We grew up being taught to be tolerant of everyone and everything. We allow others their freedom to believe what they like and to act how they want, with one proviso, they don’t ram it down our throats. Well some of these people just can’t help themselves, and they are determined to foist on the majority their minority views. They do it not through fact, but fiction. It is our tolerance, the very trait that is trumpeted as our greatest virtue, that is being used and exploited to become our greatest weakness. Find a persons greatest strength, and that is your starting point to exploiting them.
But the wheel is turning. Tune into some of the alternative news stations on the net and you here a very different story to the one we get rammed down our throat. I almost never watch the BBC or C4 anymore as it is totally agenda driven.
Down here (Australia) I have all the ABC and SBS tv channels on “skip”
For me.. they do not even exist. 🙂
I did one better. On Feb. 1, 2013, I stopped TV service. I had not watched network for 30 years and found that even the Food Network and HGTV had a displeasing agenda. Gone. Read more. Listen to Rush. Follow this blog. All better.
I must say that it will be quite hilarious to watch these gullible twits over the next few years as global temperatures start to ease off. 🙂

Temperatures won’t ease off because there is such a well oiled machine adjusting the temperatures to suit the ‘theory’. They are waiting for Roy Spencer and John Christy to retire, then they will take over the satellite measurements as well. There will be no source of unbiased temperatures left.
They will indeed have their eyes on the satellite data. Once they have that it’s over as there’ll be nobody to counter their lies.
I think it is time to go into hibernation for a week. It is not safe to switch on the radio or the TV. The public will be sick to death of the propaganda by the end of the week.
If you have Sky you could try the Russian RT, or Fox. The BBC has gone into total propaganda mode, daft statements are being broadcast without question, including attacks on govt policy, and even complaints about democracy.
RT isn’t above a bit of alarmism, though I often watch in preference to the Beeb version of events.

Today, the BBC devoted about 15 minutes to ‘global warming’ propaganda – quite amazing that they reverted to that phrase . .must be feeling very ‘up for it’ at the moment. They had about six warmista alarmists on, culminating in David Attenborough. Not ONE scientific sceptic. Not ONE hard fact. We were just told ‘this is the warmest year ever’ and ‘sea levels are rising’. Now I know how East Europeans felt under the rule of OGPU.

Most topics used to allow some balance, albeit limited, but discussions of climate-change, Syrian bombing and the evil Putin / Russians do not allow any balance or opposing views throughout the BBC or UK newspapers. Big Brother knows best what is good for us. See you in room 101.
Radio 5 Live went into climate meltdown this morning. Presenters Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden were desperately pushing the AGW agenda – ‘it’s settled’!!! – and shamelessly threw impartiality straight under the bus. They had a prof’ from Reading and Lord David Attenborough on. No challenges allowed, natch’.
Had to turn it off it got so bad.
It was just as bad on “Today” on R4.
In particular someone from the World Bank who spouted a lot of unsubstantiated nonsense and Lord Attenborough who didn’t appear to understand the questions he was being asked.
It is typical of the left that when no one is buying their bilge anymore, they become even more shrill and more outrageous until they are seen for what they are. I say, let them go as much as possible, until they overstep to the point of being obvious to one and all.

The thing to note is that the BBC will say pretty much anything to avoid admitting to being in the wrong or having committed any kind of error.
The BBC News Channnel and their morning Finance Programme were repeating outright fairy tale style lies about Climate Change including massive increases in Sea temps and not doing anything costing Trillions of Dollars (which I think came from NASA and the UN).
It is all completely made up nonsense and they are pedalling it full blown to the public and the news channel repeats about every hour or so.
