Julia Leaves Greenie Speechless!

February 28, 2020

Julia Hartley Brewer leaves the Green Party spokeswoman speechless!

BTW

The question that the greenie had trouble answering, how much of UK’s energy comes from wind and solar is a paltry 4% (and that includes hydro!):

Sorry to be OT but I saw a bit of the BBC news today. There was a clip of St. Greta standing in the pouring rain telling a crowd of climate loons that the world is on fire.

The Gods heard her cry and released the fire extinguishers of rain, but they were only needed to support the tears of the young women who wept to hear their new God speak.
From the news coverage I saw, this is the very definition of collective hysteria.

When there are puppets find out who the puppeteers are. That’s where the money is.

Even more to the point was that in the clip of her speech to the mob at Bristol she was repeatedly glancing down to the hone held in her hand. I may be an old skeptic, but was she actually reading what had been written for her? If so, very strange behavior for someone who is supposed to know all about climate and the factors that influence it.

Yes she was reading the script, and it was the same boring fact free bullcrap shes spouted for a year. Yawn.

So called environmentalists completely trashed the Bristol city park and churned the grass to a sea of mud. Bunch of enviro-mental vandals.

Julia Hartley Brewer – you are our saviour! What a wonderful demolition of all the nonsense currently being promulgated. Thanks for posting this, Paul – it gives me a little more hope!

Julia HB was reported (Daily Express) to have had her thigh groped by Boris under the table at a dinner 20 years ago. She reckons it was a 50/50 thing and all is forgiven/forgotten. I now hope she can get back to him and get him to get his head together in ignoring the pleadings of his current squeeze and take her – JHB’s – side against the AGW scam.

Somehow, the CCA needs to be – has to be – repealed. It cannot – politically – be done in the blink of an eye: it needs careful navigation and preparation. That means getting the people on side (OK, not the headbangers of XR – they are beyond redemption) and JHB, along with some other high profile celebs, with the help of others like GWPF and supportive MPs are the people to help him. It will take years. It will be hard and, probably, bloody. I don’t envy any PM who wants to take this track. Only two other PMs in my lifetime had the balls to do such a thing – and one of them didn’t have ’em.

Very good comment – I wish someone in the Conservative Party would realise that in the House of Lords they have Lord (Matt) Ridley who is capable of preparing a cogent case

It makes me want to cry. When will people in power start seeing through the sheer technically and economically illiterate rubbish that people spout about green energy.
I love JHB, but even she would not say she is an expert in this field. Even so, she runs rings around the specialist spokesman for a specialist party on their own pet topic.

It is very unfair to expect a member of the Green Party to know any facts.

This lady is a disgrace and an embarrassment. She spoke in cliches without substance. Even while scrolling on her computer she couldn’t come up with the answer posed. It was obvious she hadn’t looked or even searched for the answer to the questions which were not exactly difficult. She showed all the signs of never having to defend her position because she only listened to a spoke to people in the same groupthink.i imagine she was quite bewildered by the situation.

I might add that people like Julia should do more of this to get these useful idiots to defend their positions. I will try to send a message of support to her. I only hope that the heavy mob don’t get her fired.

I don’t do Twitter, but you might. This from her feed:

If my child wanted to join a school #ClimateStrike I’d expect her to:
      1. Know enough to pass a test on climate change facts
      2. Agree to give up fashion, all lifts home & all holiday flights
      3. Even if she did both 1 & 2, I still wouldn’t let her bunk off school

      Good for her.

Really good reply to her Twitter:

Totally agree. Last year I told my then 14 year old daughter I’d give permission for her to “strike” for climate change (Face with rolling eyes) if she wrote one page for me on her reasons why it was important and what it would achieve. She decided to go to school instead.

Good interview with JHB BUT please stop saying Carbon when these greenies/ lefties mean carbon dioxide, carbon and carbon dioxide are very different things. CO2 is the food of all life on this planet

    Well done Paul, again.
Some of the best succinct comments for a long time and the usual quality stuff from Harry Passfield. The Total Energy table needs regular repeats in notalot………………… as the data from each new interval is published. Is there a table which shows the value of the financial support given periodically to green generators? That should excite taxpayers and the more thoughtful readers of the Daily Mail.

I have written to my Conservative MP and Conservative AM, giving details of the flawed IPCC SR15 paper based on the scariest of scary RCP 8.5. That report, written by a conglomerate of social scientists, lawyers, psychologists, “earth system scientists” sustainability experts, economists and NGO’s, with a sprinkling of activist scientists led by Myles Allen, was the catalyst for the climate emergency as it was always intended to be, having been commissioned by the UN 2 years earlier.

I have asked if the climate emergencies declared by the UK government and the devolved assemblies will now be lifted, as they were made without scientific foundation. If I ever get a reply, I’ll pass it on.

So the court ruled that the UK has ‘failed to conduct prior consultation with a non-binding accord (Paris)’.

This where we are at, all the non-binding accords like Paris, Agenda 21 and the Marrakesh immigration compact are being treated as binding committments. Even Donald Trump couldn’t get the USA out of the Paris accord within 4 years.

We should sign a ‘Discord’ that cancels the ‘Accords’

Leaving the Paris Agreement requires giving 12 months notice – which Donald did once he had time to get around to it. In the US case it could be argued that since it was not a treaty – it couldn’t be because that required Senate and Congress approval which Obummer knew he wouldn’t get – they are not bound by the Vienna Convention on treaties and could have just left. Probably much easier to follow their rule and with Donald’s usual cunning, say that the US would gladly sign up to it fully if it was amended, which they would never do.

I believe that there is a mental disease infesting most politicians. It is called: “Too stupid to be wrong.” I once spoke to a campaigner for one of the main parties, and told them that I could respect a politician who could hold their hand up and admit that their policy had been wrong, and that they had a new policy which put things right. All I got was a blank stare.

Firstly, modern coal fired power stations are very clean as their exhaust gasses are scrubbed. Secondly, we need the likes of Julia to interview Greta’s nemesis, Naomi Seibt, the nineteen year old german lass who seriously questions the narrative.

It was very refreshing to hear a media person giving the green type a grilling as opposed to the easy ride that she would have had on the BBC. Julia might not be an expert on the climate issue but she had definitely done her homework. Great fun to watch the green assertions bumping up against reality for once.

Well done to Julia Hartley Brewer for that piece. We need to see more of that across the British media. The insanity of the greens appears to have taken hold within the Tory party. Someone needs to change Boris’s mind asap. The skeptics need their own political movement to claw back the initiative we had very briefly following Climategate. Time is running out to save the British economy from oblivion.

What I’ve never understood about the recent wave of climate change activism is that no Geological science has been used to counter-dispute the claims being made. Ice ages have come and gone before there was a sodding car and one coal fired power station on earth! Even if magically the whole planet (including China) reverted to living in mud huts, and did without medicine, meat, communication & transport, our climate would change.

There was an interview in a USA state committee of some sort years ago, where the head of the Environmental Protection Agency pressing for more action against climate change was asked by the board if she knew what percentage of CO2 was in the atmosphere. She could not answer the question because she hadn’t a clue – and admitted it (after some time). You couldn’t make it up.
