Are Record Temperatures Occurring More Often in the Conterminous United States?

There has been a storm brewing in the US about a collection of short brochures published by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on climate change.
Naturally attempts have been made by the warmist media and climate establishment to have them taken down, as they embarrassingly undermine the official dogma about climate emergencies.
Below is one of the key papers by John Christy:

Sadly, all the brochures will be going as Legates has been sacked.
Yes, I’m amazed Trump did not instal Legates and co from Day 1
Destined for the nearest black hole. Not only will the new regime hit the delete button, but the internet will also be policed and all uploads/access expunged shortly and ongoing. If you want personal copies, I suggest you are quick. The climate litigation industry is poised to explode, expect truth and science to be a thing of the past.
I have to wonder how long it will be until we see “You are charged with preaching wrongful, pernicious, and misleading doctrine about anthropogenic climate change” inquisitions…
AOC and her evil gang are doing it already to ‘all conservatives’. Truly terrifying times, as the general population (as ever) remain oblivious. Unfortunately these things are now right in side the fence and people will only notice un-ending restrictions (like COVID lockdowns) as the impact to their family (if they are allowed to continue to exist) lives. I wonder if enough of them /us really value ‘freedom’ anymore?
The USA invented McCarthyism, things haven’t changed.
But McCarthy was right.
An excellent set of papers. If there is increasing sensorship of the internet then I expect new free versions of twitter and facebook to gain ground. Jo Nova discusses this on her website. No company is untouchable and they must not be allowed to get away with it.
Would it be a good idea Paul to put up a link to all the original papers before any link disappears. Reading all four papers would be interesting.
Interesting that the temperature record shown follows precisely my recollections of growing up in Rhyl and before my time the growth of all the great UK seaside resorts from the mid to late 1800s. Never seen that reflected in any other records.
More record high temperatures are to be expected as urban areas expand out around previously rural weather stations.
