The Green Agenda’s Role In Global Inflation–Ben Pile

May 28, 2022

By Paul Homewood

Following Ben Pile’s article in TCW the other day, he has now released a video.

It lasts 24 minutes, but I would thoroughly recommend watching it all:

A great documentary, the sort of thing you used to have on Panorama before the BBC went far-left. I also recommend Juliet Samuel’s article in today’s Telegraph, ‘The Government is determined to prove to the world that Britain isn’t a serious country‘.

Brilliant, but surprised that Al Gore wasn’t mentioned, or that prominent promoter of all things green, the BBC.

Al Gore was not included because all his prophesies not having materialised would not benefit the CC scam today. He did his bit 2007 is now yesterday’s man.

Gore is still at it behind the scenes. He and Mark Carney are on the Board of Trustees of the WEF, as is Larry Fink of Black Rock, former IMF head and now ECB head, Christine Lagarde, along with a cabal of other major financial representatives.

Nicholas Stern, (Stern Review under Gordon Brown), wrote a paper at Boris Johnson’s request for the G7, pushing the “Transition”. His HoL register of interests shows him as an advisory board member of Gore’s Generation Investment Management company, London based.

And yet not once have Gore, Carney, Fink, Lagarde, Schwab, and the cabal actually asked us whether we want this. They know though, that if they did, we’d say NO!

The UK gas supply pipeline infrastructure is receiving no long term investment planning.

Life cycle replacement is not happening. This is government policy to deliberately cease domestic gas supply. All Politicians are cheering this on.

No new major reservoirs have been built since 1991. Population increased by 15 million since then.
Government policy has resulted in the UK being vulnerable to drought.

UK population facts are kept quiet by the ” Civil Servants ” .
In 1991 it was listed as 57 million .https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/comment/city-eye-facts-on-a-plate-our-population-is-at-least-77-million-5328454.html
Unofficial figures , from supply chains etc , show it to be possibly now nearly 80 million .
So a lot more than a 15 million increase , and it is not slowing down and therefore increasing the load on all of our infrastructure .

I have 3 house rentals and had not had a tenant change in over 15 years. Recently, however, I had to re-let one and advertised privately on Openrent.
Despite the fact that there are literally tens of thousands of new builds in the area (Kent) I was amazed at the number of responses I got…..67 in the first day alone and this was at £1,200 per month for a 3 bed terrace. I do not wish to sound racist, xenophobic or whatever but over 90% of the applicant names reflected Eastern European origin. Surely that cannot be right. How many people really do “reside” in the UK?

The Greens have done a thorough job; in order to save the world they first want to destroy it. Then what????

Ask the Almighty nicely if He’ll re-create it? 😳
Seriously, they are the ones who keep telling us there’s no Planet B, but where is the gain to humanity if we destroy it? ‘It’ being humanity or the planet depending on your point of view.
We must be the only species with a significant (small but influential) cohort bent on destroying the species itself.

If you want to understand why Sunak has opted for taxing the energy industry and doling out welfare instead of promoting more energy supply and competition, and cutting subsidies and taxes to lower prices it seems Ben got his measure.

One of the biggest funders of ESG lobbying organisations is British billionaire hedge fund manager Sir Christopher Hohn.

Hohn’s investment firm, The Children’s Investment Fund, or TCI is one such funder. Between 2006 and 2009, the current UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, was a director of the company.

  7. May 28, 2022 1:06 pm

Very scary. Never in the field of human endeavour have so many people been done over by so few billionaires and their useful idiot activists

  8. May 28, 2022 2:20 pm

The Net Zero crowd are really crewing the rest of us, so why do we stand for it? Mainly because the Goebbels-type incessant messaging has cruelly indoctrinated the 2 groups who could have resisted it, politicians and media. It’s easy to blame the greenies and their fakery, but the real blame lies at our MPs’ and MSM’s door. They simply failed to engage their brains when faced with the barrage of false claims from the green lobby, but instead believed it could win them favour. When the public feel the real pain of the cost of living/energy crisis, the backlash will be terrible.

Well done Ben Pile for producing such a succinct and devastating video.

Far too many politicians and far too many journalists want to “change the world” and Green offers them that chance. It is remarkable how many young people are the same, and how utterly ignorant they are of what they want to change and how. We live in a world populated by so many would-be Messiahs it feels like the end of the Roman Empire. Utter mediocraties like Harrabin at thd BBC get to feel like they are hugely important and hugely influential without any understanding of the damage they are causing.

I have thought for a long time that the news media depend advertisers for their revenue. In the past, sales of newspapers three editions a day in London. More clicks on line these days. Cookies track us, advertisers pay . It is all money even though not cash now. Politicians also need publicity to keep their names before their public. The providers of these services stear the eyes of the public to advertisers they think match the groups who are reading. That is why we get adverts suitable to dirty old men when ever we look for scientific information and or religious news. ( I am a nice clean minded old woman and I resent it) The result is a mish mash of what twerps who manage online “news” is important. So long as this fact is kept in mind and a healthy amount of scepticism is used keep the internet freeish. even in New Zealand.

Beyond getting richer, Michael Bloomberg may have more culpability regarding national security because of his green activism and tight relationship with China.

The easiest way for economies to decarbonize is to shut down energy intensive industries and import those products instead. China produces 60% of the worlds steel and aluminum, control 80% of the capacity silicon solar cells not to mention the corner they have on the market for raw materials for batteries and rare earths for electric motors. China has become the pre-eminent industrial power. As it moves to assert itself on the global stage it’s industrial capacity will give it tremendous leverage over the countries that rely on its imports. It will become increasingly difficult for the US and its allies to maintain military deterrence as their industrial capacity wanes.

Michael Bloomberg makes plenty of noise about the need for the west to reduce carbon emission, but he turns a blind eye to China the world’s biggest CO2 emitter.. The damage he is doing to the economic health of the US and its national security may go beyond greed and self interest.

Don’t forget Maurice Strong, one of the Founding Fathers of this rubbish. He spent most of the latter part of his life in China, allegedly to avoid being held to account in the US for certain financial irregularities! I couldn’t possibly comment!
One way to become honest on the subject of CO2 would be to state the carbon footprint of goods and services consumed rather than produced. If you import it it still counts against your “target”; if you export it it counts against the importing country.

Exactly. Net Zero is a creative accounting exercise. There can be no global net zero, because nothing could ever be made. You can’t make wind turbines from wind turbines. No plastics without oil.

Not convinced. If we don’t buy their stuff, what do they do with it?

Customers can put their suppliers out of business. It’s very hard for suppliers to put their customers out of business, and usually quite stupid.

      • May 30, 2022 10:40 am

The problem is green energy mandates puts domestic suppliers out of business by increasing the cost of energy. Bloomberg’s climate activism is making domestic production uneconomical while he champions Chinese manufacturing but barely mentions that cheap energy is a big part of their pricing advantage.

      • May 30, 2022 10:47 am

So Bloomberg is essentially working for a foreign actor (China) who is working to destroy our own energy supply market and economy. That’s what you call an ‘enemy of the state’. A commercial terrorist?

This video is 2 years old, from 2020, but so much of what is spoken is coming true, right now.

An incredible statement by Robert F Kennedy, read by former UN member Claire Edwards.

Point after point is bang on target two years later so cannot be dismissed out of hand.

There’s a couple of ‘tin foil hat’ points which are currently unverifiable, so may raise eyebrows, however they’re easily offset by the assertions which are now clearly occurring, and therefore accurate. Endless points are incredibly precise and will resonate with millions.

This is 21 minutes long but almost a must-watch video.

    • May 30, 2022 9:45 am

“…a way back” without civil revolt, but that’s unlikely as the brainwashing of the public (that CO2 is a pollutant that must be eradicated) has been very effective.

In 2006, Labour think tank IPPR produced a report called “Warm Words – How are we telling the climate story and can we tell it better”

“To help address the chaotic nature of the climate change discourse in the UK today, interested agencies now need to treat the argument as having been won, at least for popular communications. This means simply behaving as if climate change exists and is real, and that individual actions are effective. The ‘facts’ need to be treated as being so taken-for-granted that they need not be spoken.”

It has been an effective strategy, such that, combined with the daily onslaught from the BBC and the rest of the media, the general public have swallowed it wholesale. Even those challenging policy always do so with the caveat, “I accept that climate change is a problem”.

      • May 30, 2022 6:30 pm

I will NEVER accept that climate change is a problem.
I will ALWAYS state that climate change POLICY is the problem.
