Climate activist Steven Spielberg’s private jet has burned $116,000 worth of jet fuel in two months

Stephen Spielberg makes a bid for the Climate Hypocrite of the Year Award!!
A private jet belonging to Steven Spielberg has burned more than $116,000 worth of jet fuel since June despite the famous Hollywood director’s past warnings about global warming, according to a flight tracking database.
Spielberg’s plane, a Gulfstream G650, has burned at least $116,159 worth of jet fuel over the course of 16 trips spanning nearly 17,000 miles since June 23, according to flight tracking data from ADS-B Exchange and compiled by the database Celebrity Jets. The figures are likely an underestimate since the database didn’t calculate fuel and distance metrics of at least three trips made by Spielberg’s jet.
However, Spielberg has previously stated that global warming "terrified" him and ripped people who "go blithely through life" without caring about their impact on the environment.
"I’m terrified of [global warming]," Spielberg remarked during a 2018 interview for his film Ready Player One. "Global warming is a scientific reality. It’s not a political trick. It’s a true piece of real, measurable, quantifiable science."
"People have to come around to believing that this is — we are going to have to have a kind of confrontation with destiny unless we do something about it today," Spielberg said.
He added that "everybody has to be held responsible" for their role in climate change.
"You know when you’re not mindful of something that could pose a danger to your children and grandchildren?" Spielberg remarked. "Then you just go blithely through life with aerosol cans and doing all sorts of things that are depleting the ozone."

His hypocrisy isn’t quite up to the standards of Greenpeace’s, which still continues to use diesel oil to propel all its boats, and to generate all their dependable on-board electricity.
Hypocrisy is the main theme in anything connected with climate change…. The worst is flying 25000 people to climate conferences when everyone else does business online. Their argument is that what they do isn’t going to make any difference.
Certainly that would appear to be the case with all COPs since Berlin. The rise in CO2 at yardstick Moana Loa is inexorable and COVID gave not a twitch, even when examining the idiosyncratic shapes of the sawteeth in magnification. How much is natural is still ‘unsettled’ as I understand it, but human consumption is not going to slow. Just as well that CO2 doesn’t affect the weather.

I think we should look at this in “homes”, that wonderfully flexible unit of energy. If we assume that the avtur was $1/litre that’s 116,000 litres. Now choose your unit for homes. Perhaps 1,000 litres over the winter for your oil boiler? He’s consumed at 116 homes in just 2 months.
A bit cheaper than that, $0.85/l.

Well when all the political scientists and their pseudoscientist friends shut up and the actual physics of what CO2 can and cannot do is allowed out for public consumption, we will see that he has actually been a friend to mankind and the pwanet because by his actions he single handedly contributed to an increase in food productivity and as a consequence of that, more oxygen for us to breath so a big round of applause for the Big S.

Spielberg converted to the “Climate Cult” and no longer has a functioning intellect. There seems to be no cure except for a 25 year chill while PPM of CO2 in the atmosphere continues to increase. He is now age 75 and likely will not live to see the demise of the global warming misadventure.
