Big Trouble in the Tropical Troposphere
September 29, 2022
By Paul Homewood
Dr John Robson produces some very good videos on climate change. This one covers the missing warming in the Tropical Troposphere:

George,
You might find this video worth a few minutes of your time.

‘What to do when the predictions don’t fit the data?’ asks Dr Robson.
A real scientist would go back to the drawing board and find a new theory to test against real world observations.
An alarmist climate scientist will torture, adjust and deny any inconvenient data that doesn’t fit their theory before stamping their feet, chucking their toys around and accusing anyone who disagrees with them of being a ‘filthy denier’ who requires silencing. Seems pretty sciencey to me.
Yes if you torture the data hard enough it will tell you anything you want!
And still murmur:
“But it moves!”
The models show significant warming. Measurements do not, so the measurements are wrong. So says the climate science community as it has for decades. How long can this scandal exist? Governments are not going to question it. The scientists involved are too deeply involved to speak out now. Independent scientists have spoken out but the establishment ignores them.
This may not have started as a scam, but it has become one, possibly the greatest scam ever, with no end in sight.
Well worth watching. The older I get the more cynical I become about academic experts, who then advise politicians, who should NEVER be allowed to make decisions that could damage our well being. But we vote for these clowns and like lemmings we follow them over the cliff.
Dr Robson’s videos are all well worth a watch!
And I concur with all the above comments.
Chin up everyone.
Could/should skeptics start a program of repeatedly shouting “WHER’S THE HOT SPOT” whenever we come across one of the liars, no matter the venue?
An excellent video. Actually, the hypothesis is that ‘crude simulations work’ – the idea being that Nature can be laid bare with a silly computer game. I am profoundly glad that that is not the case. Otherwise we would have to live for ever in a nightmare of “Computer says!”
The liars are caught in quicksand. They do not know that struggling in it makes
it suck harder.
This paper suggests a pre-/post-2003 pattern in the tropical troposphere.
Variability of Water Vapor in the Tropical Middle Atmosphere Observed From Satellites and Interpreted Using SD-WACCM Simulations
First published: 23 June 2022
The cold-point temperature is strongly influenced by the strength of the Brewer-Dobson circulation. The acceleration of the Brewer-Dobson circulation before about 2003 leads to a cooler tropical tropopause and a decrease of water vapor, and the deceleration thereafter leads to corresponding warming of the tropopause and an increase in water vapor.
